Thank you James. Thanks you.
O_______Othat is.... sooooo very awesome.
Lovely work James, thank you for sharing.
Very nice. I really like the "peeled wallpaper" look of the background behind the girl.Court
Your washes are really nicely disigned. I've been working more in transparent washes to create texture. The subtle spots of red are what make this piece complete. Thanks james.
this is such a great piece...the mood in here is awesome, as the lightings...killer work once again!!!thanks for sharing your art with us!
hey james,i really like these little personal projects you did here and there( i love them better than your commerical works even though i love all your commerical works!)the way you use your white, as well as your drawing and design, are so inspiring!i am so glad that i am living at the time when it has an artist like you. you never cease amaze me.i wish i will have the courage to talk to you next time when i see you again in your show.
Simply B E A U T I F U L !!!
Whenever you publish a new work, a spell takes place!Delightful!
This is the type of thing that stuns me among all your pieces. I was a bit sad to see the NFS sign. You painted this in one night? Did you work directly on it or did you sketch elsewhere first?
So good, so very good. But what does Jed think?
I think it rocks! Thanks for asking.
Frank & Jed, well played. Thank for the comments, everyone!M - I drew directly onto the surface this time, a change from the way I go about my illustration work. I scribbled a few thumbnails at around 6:00 pm, had dinner and watched a movie, and started painting at around 9:00. Went to bed at 2:00am.
beautiful - very atmoshperic
James Jean eats dinner and watches movies?! Impossible. It would be interesting if you post the thumbnails in your next post.
Just awesome ! Such poetry in it, a whole graphic world in one pic..Thank you for being such an example.
Very nice work as always. Though I must say, the theme in this painting is a bit too "Lolita" for my taste. But again beautifully illustrated; the innocense slowly disapearing through fantasi. Nicely done!
Wow. Absolutely gorgeous. I wish you'd make this available as a print (preferably the version without the text on it). I'd buy it in a heartbeat. This may be my favorite of your works yet. I don't know why, it's just so beautiful and it resonates so strongly. Thanks for posting!
