Very nice. I really like the "peeled wallpaper" look of the background behind the girl.

Your washes are really nicely disigned. I've been working more in transparent washes to create texture. The subtle spots of red are what make this piece complete. Thanks james.

This is the type of thing that stuns me among all your pieces. I was a bit sad to see the NFS sign.

You painted this in one night? Did you work directly on it or did you sketch elsewhere first?

Frank & Jed, well played. Thank for the comments, everyone!

M - I drew directly onto the surface this time, a change from the way I go about my illustration work. I scribbled a few thumbnails at around 6:00 pm, had dinner and watched a movie, and started painting at around 9:00. Went to bed at 2:00am.

James Jean eats dinner and watches movies?! Impossible.

It would be interesting if you post the thumbnails in your next post.

Very nice work as always. Though I must say, the theme in this painting is a bit too "Lolita" for my taste. But again beautifully illustrated; the innocense slowly disapearing through fantasi. Nicely done!

Wow. Absolutely gorgeous. I wish you'd make this available as a print (preferably the version without the text on it). I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

This may be my favorite of your works yet. I don't know why, it's just so beautiful and it resonates so strongly. Thanks for posting!
